Drolet 44" × 36" Tinted Tempered Glass Hearth Pad (10 mm) — Fits Most Drolet & Englander Wood Stoves

A 10 mm tinted tempered glass hearth pad that protects the floor from embers dropped during loading, in a smaller footprint than the 54" × 46¾" size. Dark tinted, opaque glass. The floor underneath mostly won't show through. For a see-through look, choose the clear version. Polished, non-sharp edges and corners. Ember protection only (no R-value), for stoves whose manual calls for ember or non-combustible floor protection.

Compatible appliances

Every wood stove we sell requires ember protection only — no R-value — so the only question is size. These are the models whose published minimum pad dimensions fit inside this panel in one orientation or the other:

Does not fit: the Bistro cookstove (needs 39⅞" × 38⅜") or the Chic-Choc cookstove (needs 54⅝" × 43"). Both need a larger pad.

Also too big for this pad: the Escape 1800 (about 41⅝" × 41¾"), Escape 2100 (about 44⅛" × 47⅞") and HT-3000 (about 44⅛" × 47¼"). Their manuals give offsets rather than a finished size (16" in front, 8" each side), and with those added they come out larger than 44" × 36" either way round. The 46¾" × 54" pad covers all three.
