Is it the igniter?

If your pellet stove feeds pellets but never lights, or only lights after you add a starter gel, the igniter is the most likely cause. Before replacing it, clean the burn pot and its air holes: ash buildup around the igniter tube is the most common reason a good igniter can't light the pellets. Match the part number on each igniter page to the parts list in your stove's manual before ordering.

Which ComfortBilt igniter?

The Gen 3 quartz igniter is ComfortBilt's current direct-fit replacement for the HP line and the Alpines. The Gen 2 ceramic igniter costs less and is the one for the HP75C, but it may need the ceramic igniter ring bracket when it replaces an old steel igniter.
