Rule these out before you replace the board

  • Blown fuse. No power or a dark display with a working outlet is often just the fuse: Englander 6 amp fuses or ComfortBilt spare fuses. Find out what blew it, since a failing blower, auger motor or igniter can take the fuse out again.
  • Loose or damaged cable. On ComfortBilt stoves, check the 4-pin data cable between the panel and the board.
  • Sensor faults. Englander boards read a control board heat sensor; a loose sensor can cause failed-start codes.

Englander profiles and ComfortBilt cables

Englander boards look alike but carry a profile for each model, and the wrong profile will not run your stove correctly. ComfortBilt stoves built before about 2020 use a wide ribbon cable and need the legacy board and panel; newer stoves use the 4-pin plug.
