Is Century Heating Discontinued? Current Models and Drolet Equivalents (2026)
No Sales Tax in any state. Century Heating is not discontinued. It is the value brand of Stove Builder International (SBI), the Quebec company that also builds Drolet and Englander, and it still makes stoves and inserts for the US market. We are an authorized online dealer for Century and carry the FW2900, FW2800 and S250 stoves and the CW2100 insert.
Every Century model has a sibling in the Drolet or Englander range built on the same SBI platform. The table maps them.

Century or Drolet?
On each pair above, the firebox, output and burn time come from the same SBI platform. Two things separate them: warranty (Drolet's limited lifetime against Century's 5 years on the firebox welds and cast iron door frame) and when it ships. If the Drolet ships in time for you, it is the better long-term buy. If you need heat this season and the Drolet has a lead time, the Century gives you the same heat now.

It's fully supported for parts through SBI, and many parts are shared with Drolet models. We stock firescreens, blowers, thermodiscs, gaskets and fresh air kits that fit Century stoves, with the fitment on each product page.
