Use poly on stainless. Wire bristles can scratch a stainless steel chimney liner, so use a poly brush on liners and a wire brush on masonry and clay tile. Mixing fittings? The Buttonlok to 3/8" NPT adaptor joins them, and the Buttonlok drill adaptor lets you spin the brush with a cordless drill.
