Overview
No Sales Tax in any state on every A.W. Perkins chimney rod. Buttonlok rods snap together with a push-button lock, so they can't unscrew inside the chimney when you twist or spin them. They take Buttonlok brushes, or 3/8" NPT brushes with an adaptor, and can be driven by a drill with the Buttonlok drill adaptor.

How many rods?
Measure the chimney from the appliance to the top and buy enough rods to cover it with a little left to hold. Poly rods are flexible enough to go round a stove pipe elbow; fiberglass rods are stiffer for straight masonry flues.
Fittings: 3/8" NPT is the standard tapered pipe thread used on most chimney brushes and fiberglass rods. Buttonlok is A.W. Perkins' push-button quick connect: Buttonlok brushes go on Buttonlok rods. To put a 3/8" NPT brush on a Buttonlok rod, add the Buttonlok to 3/8" NPT brush adaptor.
