If a pellet stove won't light, won't feed or keeps shutting down, check our pellet stove troubleshooting guide first — a dirty burn pot or blocked vent causes many of the same symptoms as a failed igniter, auger motor or switch. Most failures are prevented by regular pellet stove maintenance.
