A hollow-core ceramic igniter that outlasts the original steel style — at a lower price than the Gen 3 quartz.
This second-generation igniter replaces a failed or worn unit in the burn pot's ignition tube. Its ceramic core holds up to repeated heat cycles better than the first-generation steel igniter and lights pellets consistently at startup.

Upgrading from a steel igniter? Some stoves need a ring bracket with set screw to hold the ceramic igniter in place. Burrs or ridges inside the igniter tube (left from the drilled air holes) can also stop it from seating flush — lightly smooth the inside of the tube from the rear opening with a rounded metal file and it will seat properly.
