Overview

Place your wood stove closer to the wall — safely. Every freestanding wood stove has a required clearance to combustibles (the minimum distance from the stove to a wall, framing, or trim). This UL 1618 / ULC S632 certified modular shield creates a ventilated air gap that blocks radiant heat, letting you reduce that required clearance substantially — often by half or more.

Find your reduced clearance: the exact distance you can achieve with this shield is printed in your stove's installation manual. Look up your model on our Clearance to Combustibles Guide first, then check its manual for the reduced-with-shield figure.

Designed for freestanding solid-fuel stoves. Made of powder-coated steel for durability. Includes panels and wall brackets. Panel system measures 58 1/2" W x 53" H x 2 1/2" D, 61 lb.
