The Englander Blue Ridge 100 N wood stove (model ESW0002) is the updated version of the popular Blue Ridge 100, Englander's smallest pedestal stove. It heats 250 to 1,200 sq ft with a maximum heat output of 75,000 BTU/h, takes 17" logs loaded front to back and is rated for burn times up to 5 hours. It is EPA 2020 certified at 1.7 g/h, with 74% average overall efficiency (HHV). NexBurn combustion, a combustion grate and a new tertiary combustion zone power it, behind a cast iron door with airwash ceramic glass and the Blue Ridge mountain overlay. Approved for alcove and mobile home installation.
Who the Blue Ridge 100 N is for
It suits spaces that don't need a big firebox:
- Cabins, cottages, small homes and additions of roughly 250 to 1,200 sq ft.
- Zone heating one living area, a finished basement or a workshop in a larger house.
- Replacing an older Blue Ridge 100 or a similar small stove, if your hearth has the room (see below).
Insulation, layout and climate move the real heating area. For more than about 1,200 sq ft, step up to a mid-size model from our wood stove collection.
Firebox, burn time and heat output
The firebox has an overall volume of 1.85 cu ft (1.67 cu ft EPA loading volume) and measures 14 1/4" wide, 11 3/4" high and 18 7/8" deep. Logs load north-south, ends facing the glass, up to 17" long; 16" splits are the easiest fit. A deeper-than-usual firebox base holds more ash between cleanouts.
Under the EPA test method it produces 18,782 to 71,262 BTU/h from low to high burn, with a 75,000 BTU/h peak on dense loads of dry cordwood, so it can idle on a mild evening and still push real heat on a cold night. Optimum efficiency is 81% (LHV). Treat the 5-hour burn time as a best case with dry hardwood, a full load and good draft.
Blue Ridge 100 N vs. the original Blue Ridge 100
The N replaced the Englander Blue Ridge 100 (ESW0001). It looks almost identical, but it is a different stove inside and on the hearth:

It is not a drop-in swap: the N is 1/2" deeper, its flue sits 1" further back and it needs more side and corner room. Measure before ordering.
Blue Ridge 100 N vs. Escape 1200 N vs. Spark II N
The Drolet Escape 1200 N and Drolet Spark II N come from the same manufacturer and share the Blue Ridge 100 N's performance figures: 250–1,200 sq ft, 75,000 BTU/h, a 1.85 cu ft firebox, 17" logs, 5-hour burns, 1.7 g/h and 74% HHV. The choice comes down to styling, base and ship date:

Pick the Blue Ridge 100 N for the Englander look and mountain glass, the Escape 1200 N for Drolet styling, or the Spark II N for legs and less weight.
Blower option
No blower is required. To move more warm air into the next room, add the 100 CFM variable-speed blower (AC02050) listed in the Blue Ridge 100 N manual, with the Quick Connect Thermodisc (AC02055) so it runs only when the stove is hot.
Venting and installation
The Blue Ridge 100 N has a 6" flue outlet and uses 6" connector pipe into a UL 103 HT (2,100°F) factory-built chimney, or a masonry chimney with a code-approved liner, at least 12 ft tall. In the USA, double-wall connector pipe cuts the rear wall clearance from 14" to 8" and the corner from 16" to 14"; the side stays at 24", and you need 84" from the base of the stove to a combustible ceiling. With the certified AC02762 wall heat shield and double-wall pipe, rear, side and corner clearances drop to 3" (keep 6" on the door-handle side). In a mobile home, single-wall pipe is forbidden and the 5" fresh air intake kit (AC01336) is required.
Floor protection
Unless the stove sits on a non-combustible floor such as concrete, it needs a continuous non-combustible ember pad; no R-value is required. In the USA the pad extends 16" in front of the door opening and 8" to each side, and under any horizontal run of connector pipe it must extend 2" past each side of the pipe. Shop our hearth pads.

Ships via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight – carriers include XPO Logistics, Estes Express, ABF Freight, Old Dominion, and FedEx Freight. Transit time is typically 3–10 business days from ship date. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment.
Remote addresses. Some rural or hard-to-access addresses carry a carrier freight surcharge. If yours does, we'll email you the exact amount for approval before your order is processed — or you can cancel for a full refund.
Curbside delivery only. The driver will lower your order to the curb or end of your driveway via liftgate. This does not include bringing the item inside, carrying up stairs, or crossing uneven terrain.
Have an appliance dolly and an extra person available on delivery day. Need inside or threshold delivery? Contact us before ordering.
Inspect before signing. Before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL), check for any visible packaging damage. Write "DAMAGED" or "Subject to inspection" on the BOL if anything looks off.

Returns. Unused, uninstalled units in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Appliance returns are subject to a $300 return freight charge plus a 15% restocking fee. Units that have been fired or installed cannot be returned. Accessories and parts carry a 15% restocking fee.

It is not a drop-in replacement. It needs more clearance on every side except the ceiling, it is 1/2" deeper, and the flue outlet sits 1" further back.
Mobile homes: double-wall connector pipe only, with 8" to the rear, 28" to a side wall, 15" in a corner, and the 5" Fresh Air Intake Kit (AC01336). With the AC02762 wall heat shield and double-wall pipe, rear, side and corner clearances drop to 3" (6" on the side if it is the door-handle side).
