Overview

🎁 INCLUDED FREE: Magnetic Stove Thermometer and 50 Fire Starters — everything you need for your first fire.

The same compact pedestal stove, now making 75,000 BTU/h. The Englander Blue Ridge 100 N carries NexBurn combustion technology, supported by a combustion grate that promotes quick ignition, plus a newly added tertiary combustion zone. The result is a maximum heat output of 75,000 BTU/h from the Blue Ridge 100's footprint, a stove that made 45,000 BTU/h — and it burns cleaner, at 1.7 g/h against 1.8 g/h.

It heats 250–1,200 square feet from a 1.85 ft³ firebox (1.67 ft³ EPA loading volume), taking logs up to 17" loaded front-to-back for up to 5 hours per load. The base of the firebox is deeper than others in its class, so it holds more ash and you empty it less often. The steel top is reinforced with a stainless steel heat shield, and the cast iron door carries airwash ceramic glass with the mountain overlay. 18 1/2" wide, 30 3/8" high and 29 1/2" deep on its pedestal, 293 lb shipping weight.

Planning a replacement install? The N is not a drop-in swap. It needs more room than the Blue Ridge 100 it replaces — 24" to a side wall against 18", and 16" to a corner against 11", with single-wall pipe. Double-wall pipe brings the rear wall to 8" and the corner to 14"; the side stays at 24". Allow 84" from the base of the unit to a combustible ceiling. The flue outlet also sits an inch further back, 7 5/8" from the rear against 6 5/8". Measure your space before ordering.

One thing to know before you buy. Englander has not yet published the installation and operation manual for this model — as of 17 September 2026 the ESW0002 product page still links the older Blue Ridge 100 manual, which does not cover this stove. So the floor-protection extents, the mobile-home clearances and the fresh air intake kit part number are not yet available from the manufacturer in print. Those figures are given in the manual packed with the stove and on the appliance's certification label. If your install depends on any of them, talk to us first and we will confirm them with Englander before you order.

Photography shows the Blue Ridge 100. The 100 N is externally near-identical — it is 1/4" lower, 1/2" deeper, and its flue outlet sits 1" further back. Use the dimension drawing under Documentation for exact measurements.

  • Up to 5 hours burn time on 17" logs loaded front-to-back

Frequently asked questions

The Blue Ridge 100 N is sized for 250 to 1,200 square feet — small homes, cabins, cottages, or zone-heating one room of a larger house. The N raises maximum output to 75,000 BTU/h, well above the 45,000 BTU/h of the Blue Ridge 100 it replaces.

Not sure what size you need? Use our sizing calculator: Stove Sizing Calculator
The N adds NexBurn combustion technology, a combustion grate for quicker ignition and a tertiary combustion zone. Maximum heat output rises from 45,000 to 75,000 BTU/h, the firebox grows slightly from 1.8 to 1.85 ft³ (EPA loading volume 1.55 to 1.67 ft³), and particulate emissions fall from 1.8 to 1.7 g/h.

It is not a drop-in replacement. It needs more clearance on every side except the ceiling, it is 1/2" deeper, and the flue outlet sits 1" further back.
With a single-wall connector: 14" to a rear wall, 24" to a side wall, 16" in a corner, and 84" from the base of the unit to a combustible ceiling. With a double-wall connector the rear drops to 8" and the corner to 14"; the side wall stays at 24".

These are Englander's published US figures for ESW0002. Mobile-home clearances and floor-protection requirements are given in the installation manual supplied with the stove and on the appliance's certification label — confirm against those before you install.
Englander has not yet published an installation and operation manual for this model, so the floor-protection extents are not available from the manufacturer in print. They are stated in the manual packed with the stove and on the appliance's certification label.

My home has a 7 foot ceiling and only a 4 foot chimney above that but it still has good draft. Flue pipe has two slight elbow bends. It is pretty straight. I leave door open slightly until fire is going well. Window stays quite clean. With one piece of birch 5x6x17 long and one piece of fir added to hot coals it heats for a long time and still has many hot coals after 5 hours. Even after 10-15 hours there are enough live embers to easily get fire going again. Very satisfied.
