Complete 6" double-wall connector pipe kit for venting a freestanding wood stove straight up through the ceiling.

Fits any wood stove with a 6" flue collar, regardless of brand. Measure your stove's flue outlet — if it's 6", this kit connects. The included appliance connector mates the Vortex pipe to your stove collar; build the rest of the run from Vortex components rather than mixing brands.

This kit includes:

• Appliance connector (stove adapter)
• Telescoping section, 38"–70"
• 36 self-tapping screws

Vortex double-wall is listed at 6" clearance to combustible walls and 6" to combustible ceilings — versus 18" for single-wall — and is required by many stove manuals to achieve their listed reduced clearances. Because this kit is built around a telescoping section, the 5" reduced clearance does not apply here; plan the run at 6". Listed to ULC S641; install per NFPA 211 (US) or CSA B365 (Canada).

This is connector pipe, not chimney. The pipe itself must not pass through the ceiling — a listed ceiling support box and chimney are required at the penetration. Where the pipe clearance and the appliance clearance differ, always use the larger. Always confirm the connector pipe type and clearances specified in your stove's installation manual.
