Wood & Pellet Stove Specs: Every Model We Sell, Compared (2026)
Share
Updated October 15, 2026
This is the full spec sheet for every wood stove, wood insert and pellet stove we sell from Drolet, Englander and ComfortBilt, plus our Century wood stoves and wood inserts and the Ventis ECO-55 ST: heating area, maximum output, log length, firebox or hopper size, burn time, flue size, EPA emissions, mobile-home approval and price, side by side in one place. It is a reference, not a ranking. Every model ships with No Sales Tax in any state and free shipping over $250.
How to read this chart
Each category has two tables: a performance table (what the stove does) and a buying table (approval, price and ship time). Models are sorted from smallest to largest heating area, then by price. Every figure is the manufacturer's published number from the product page or owner's manual; a dash (—) means the figure isn't published or our sources disagree, and we'd rather leave it blank than estimate. Prices are current as of the date at the top of this page, and the ship column updates daily from our supplier feed; the product page always shows the live price. For our recommendations by home size and budget, see best wood stoves and best pellet stoves.

The four models ending in N (Spark II N, Blue Ridge 100 N, Escape 1200 N and Deco Nano N) are NexBurn revisions of earlier small stoves. The Escape 1200 N and Blue Ridge 100 N, for example, are rated 75,000 BTU/h against 45,000 for the models they replace. The Escape 1200 N also needs more side clearance than the stove it replaces (24" against 18"), so check clearances on the product page before swapping one in. For the small end of this table ranked by use case, see best small wood stoves.

All eight inserts include a blower and have a 6" flue collar; in a masonry fireplace that means a full-height 6" stainless liner. None is approved for mobile homes; if that's your install, use a freestanding stove from the table above. Sizing your fireplace opening, liner kits and bundles are covered in the wood stove inserts guide.

Notes on the numbers
- Manufacturer figures. Every number comes from Drolet, Englander, ComfortBilt, Century or Ventis literature, as published on each product page and in the owner's manuals. We don't adjust or estimate them.
- Heating area is a range, not a promise. Real coverage depends on your climate, insulation, ceiling height and floor plan. Use our stove sizing guide to narrow it down.
- Max output means different things by fuel. For wood stoves it is the manufacturer's maximum on dry cordwood. For the ComfortBilt HP series and the Englander 25-CBPAH it is the top of the manufacturer's tested output range. For the Drolet ECO-55, the Ventis ECO-55 ST and the ECO-65R it is the top of the heat output range (SBI also quotes maximum heat input of 39,260 BTU/h for both ECO-55 models and 50,800 BTU/h for the ECO-65R). The Alpine figures are ComfortBilt's "up to" ratings.
- Burn time is a best-case figure: a full load of dry hardwood with the air turned down, or a full hopper on the lowest pellet setting.
- EPA emissions are average particulate emissions from certification testing. Lower is cleaner; the 2020 EPA limit for new wood heaters is 2.0 g/h when tested with crib wood, or 2.5 g/h with cordwood.
- Mobile-home approval always comes with conditions: an outside air kit, the stove bolted to the floor, and for wood stoves double-wall stove pipe. Follow the manual and local code.
- Clearances aren't in this chart because they change with pipe type and wall shielding. See our wood stove clearances to combustibles guide and the clearance table on each product page.
