Vortex Double Wall Slip Section 6" x 12"L — VOD0076

Vortex double-wall slip section, 6" diameter x 12" long, used to close a run without dismantling the rest of the pipe. It slides over the adjoining section so the connector can be assembled and taken apart for cleaning.

Fits any wood stove with a 6" flue collar, regardless of brand. Measure your stove's flue outlet — if it's 6", this connects using the Vortex stove adapter. Double-wall pipe is system-specific at the joints, so build the whole connector run from Vortex components rather than mixing brands.

The stainless-steel inner wall uses an exclusive thermal weave that promotes even airflow and lower outer-wall temperatures. Joints are laser-welded and the metallic black powder coat resists corrosion.

Vortex double-wall is listed at 6" clearance to combustible walls and 6" to combustible ceilings — versus 18" for single-wall. The 5" reduced clearance permitted for Vortex double-wall does not apply to a run containing an adjustable section, so plan this run at 6". Listed to ULC S641; install per NFPA 211 (US) or CSA B365 (Canada).

This is connector pipe, not chimney. It must not pass through a wall, ceiling, floor, attic or closet, and must not be enclosed. Where the pipe clearance and the appliance clearance differ, always use the larger. Always confirm the connector pipe type and clearances specified in your stove's installation manual.
