Overview

6" Vortex double-wall masonry adapter, used where the connector run enters an existing masonry chimney through a non-combustible wall.

Works with any 6" Vortex double-wall run, regardless of stove brand. It joins the connector pipe to the masonry chimney, not to the stove — so what matters is that your run is 6" Vortex double-wall.

The adapter fits into the chimney opening and the collar fastens to the masonry face with screws and anchors (not supplied). Seal the collar-to-masonry joint with high-temperature silicone. On a relined chimney, slide the adapter onto the tee take-off by at least 2".

Part of the Vortex double-wall system, listed to ULC S641 at 6" clearance to combustible walls and ceilings. Install per NFPA 211 (US) or CSA B365 (Canada). Use only Vortex double-wall components — do not mix with another manufacturer's pipe.

Have the masonry chimney inspected by a professional sweep or fire inspector before connecting to it. Always confirm the connector pipe type and clearances specified in your stove's installation manual.
