Quadra-Fire Prices 2026: Every Pellet Stove, Wood Stove and Insert

Quadra-Fire sells through local dealers, and most of them put call for pricing where the number should be. A couple of large Quadra-Fire retailers do publish "starting at" prices, though, and those are the figures below: every current pellet stove, pellet insert and wood stove, what installation adds on top, and the stoves we would put against each one. Ours ship with No Sales Tax in any state and free shipping, with the price on the page.

Quadra-Fire pellet stove prices, 2026

These are the "starting at" prices published by Fireside Hearth & Home and Forge & Flame, two large Quadra-Fire retailers, in October 2026. They are stove only, in the base finish. Delivery, venting, installation and tax are extra, and an independent dealer near you may quote higher or lower.

Quadra-Fire pellet stove Heats Hopper Starting price, stove only
Outfitter I Small spaces — $2,479
Outfitter II Small to mid-size — $2,879
Santa Fe 700–1,900 sq ft 52 lb $3,569
Classic Bay 1200 1,000–2,700 sq ft 80 lb $4,089
Trekker Large — $5,329

The Classic Bay 1200 is the model most people are pricing. It is Quadra-Fire's long-running flagship, rated at 41,100 BTU/h with an 80 lb hopper and a large bay window. The listed efficiency is 78% LHV, which is 73% on the HHV basis the EPA uses to compare stoves.

Quadra-Fire pellet insert prices

Quadra-Fire pellet insert Starting price, insert only
Santa Fe insert $4,068
Classic Bay 1200 insert (75 lb hopper, 48,500 BTU/h) $4,538
Trekker insert $5,558

An insert also needs a liner run up the chimney, which is often the biggest line on the invoice. Our pellet fireplace inserts comparison puts the Classic Bay insert side by side with Harman and Enviro, and the fireplace insert cost guide breaks down the install.

Quadra-Fire wood stove prices

Quadra-Fire wood stove Heats up to Output Starting price, stove only
2100 Millennium 2,100 sq ft 44,400 BTU/h $2,249
3100 Millennium 2,600 sq ft 51,000 BTU/h $2,399

5700 Step Top 3,700 sq ft 72,100 BTU/h $3,767
Expedition II wood insert 2,400 sq ft 56,000 BTU/h $3,728

The Millennium, Step Top and Discovery lines share the same burn system and differ mostly in styling: the Step Top adds cast iron detailing, and the Discovery is the contemporary option. The 5700 Step Top is the big one, with a 3.0 cu ft firebox, 22" logs and burns of up to 15 hours. The 3100 Millennium burns up to 10 hours from a 1.9 cu ft firebox on 16" logs.

What a Quadra-Fire costs installed

The stove is only part of the bill. Typical additions:

Item Typical cost
Pellet vent kit or chimney/liner Depends on route and height
Hearth pad $189–$525
Installation labor $1,000–$2,500+
Sales tax About $200–$300 on a $4,089 Classic Bay, depending on your state

A Classic Bay 1200 is realistically a $5,500 to $7,000 project once it is vented and installed. When you call a dealer, ask for the installed price including venting, since that is the only number you can compare. Our pellet stove installation guide covers what the job involves, and pellet stove prices shows how the whole category is priced.

What the Classic Bay gives you is Quadra-Fire's long track record, its jam-resistant feed system and a local dealer who services it. Our Quadra-Fire vs ComfortBilt comparison goes through the trade-offs model by model.

Trekker vs ECO-65R. If you were looking at the Trekker for long, hands-off burns, the Drolet ECO-65R runs up to 105 hours from a 125 lb hopper at 0.77 g/h.

Need an insert sooner? The Carolina Model 21 NC works as a fireplace insert and is in stock: $2,248 with its trim kit, heats 800–1,800 sq ft, made in the USA (Ships in 1–3 days). Your fireplace opening must be at least 23¼″ wide, 21″ high and 15″ deep.

The Century FW2900 is built by SBI, the Quebec manufacturer behind Drolet and Englander, and it is in stock now: 500–2,100 sq ft and up to 75,000 BTU/h on 20" logs. The HT-3000 covers up to 2,700 sq ft at 110,000 BTU/h with 22" logs, for about $700 less than a 4300 Millennium. Quadra-Fire's ratings reach higher (3,000 sq ft for the 4300, 3,700 for the 5700), and if you really are heating that much house, its bigger stoves are worth pricing.

Is a Quadra-Fire worth it?

For some buyers, yes. Quadra-Fire is part of Hearth & Home Technologies, the same company as Harman, and it has decades of dealer support behind it. The Classic Bay 1200 has been a dealer-floor staple for years, and a local dealer who installs and services the stove is worth real money to people who don't want to manage the job themselves.

What you are not buying is more heat per dollar. The stoves above cover the same square footage for $1,000 to $2,000 less, and that gap pays for most of the venting and a hearth pad. If you are cross-shopping the other big dealer brand, see Harman pellet stove prices.

Repairing an older Quadra-Fire instead? We carry Quadra-Fire pellet stove parts for the Castile, Mt. Vernon, Santa Fe, Classic Bay 1200, 800, 1000 and 1100i with No Sales Tax, and our Quadra-Fire troubleshooting guide helps you find the failed part.
