Enerzone Wood Stoves: 2026 Lineup Review + How to Buy the Same Stove Online
Share
If you've seen an Enerzone wood stove at a hearth showroom — or a neighbor swears by their Solution 2.3 — here's the single most useful thing to know before you buy: Enerzone is made by Stove Builder International (SBI), the same Quebec manufacturer that builds Drolet. Same factory, same steel, same EPA 2020 combustion engineering, same limited lifetime warranty. The difference is the sales channel: Enerzone is sold through in-person specialty dealers, while Drolet is SBI's online-available brand.
That distinction matters for your wallet. In this guide we review the full 2026 Enerzone wood stove lineup with manufacturer-verified specs, then show the Drolet model that matches each one spec-for-spec — and what it costs to buy it online instead. If you want every Drolet model side by side first, start with all 13 Drolet wood stoves ranked by home size.
Already own an Enerzone and looking for parts rather than a stove? Skip to the parts section — we stock the factory SBI replacement parts that fit Enerzone appliances, including the cast iron leg and pedestal kits.

Who Makes Enerzone?
Enerzone is one of several brands manufactured by SBI (Stove Builder International) of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec. SBI builds wood stoves, inserts, fireplaces, and furnaces under the Enerzone, Drolet, Englander, Osburn, Century Heating, Valcourt, and PSG names. Enerzone units are positioned as the specialty-dealer line: you buy them through a local hearth shop, typically with in-store consultation and professional installation quoted on top. Our guide to who makes Drolet, Osburn, Englander and Century maps the whole family.
Drolet comes off the same production lines and is engineered to the same EPA 2020 standards — but SBI makes Drolet available through authorized online dealers, which is why the equivalent stove usually costs significantly less delivered to your door.

*Enerzone publishes list prices in Canadian dollars only; USD figures are approximate conversions at exchange rates current as of August 2026. These are starting list prices before extras: Enerzone's own site advises US customers that a surcharge of up to 15% may apply due to U.S. tariffs, with freight, duties, and dealer installation additional — and your local dealer sets final retail.
Enerzone vs. Drolet: The Same-Factory Equivalents
Because both brands come from SBI's platforms, several Enerzone models have a Drolet counterpart with a matching spec envelope. Here's how the three most popular Enerzone stoves line up, using each manufacturer's published specifications:
Enerzone Solution 2.3 → Drolet Escape 1800

This is the closest match in the entire lineup — the two stoves share an essentially identical specification sheet:
| Spec | Enerzone Solution 2.3 | Drolet Escape 1800 |
|---|---|---|
| Heating area | 500–2,100 ft² | 500–2,100 ft² |
| Max heat output | 75,000 BTU/h | 75,000 BTU/h |
| Firebox volume | 2.4 ft³ | 2.4 ft³ |
| Max burn time | 8 hours | 8 hours |
| Max log length | 20" | 20" |
| Particulate emissions | 2.3 g/h | 2.3 g/h |
| EPA 2020 certified | Yes | Yes |
| Warranty | Limited lifetime | Limited lifetime |
| Price | ≈ $2,225 USD list + tariff surcharge, freight & dealer install | $1,549, shipped |
Shipping now: the Englander Blue Ridge 300L (No confirmed date) is the closest in-stock alternative to the Escape 1800, with the same 500–2,100 sq ft rating, 75,000 BTU/h output and 20" logs.
Shipping now: the Englander Blue Ridge 300P (Ships in 5–9 weeks), the pedestal version of the Blue Ridge 300L, matches the Escape 1800 on 500–2,100 sq ft, 75,000 BTU/h and 20" logs.
Same manufacturer, same firebox class, same performance numbers. The Solution 2.3 adds dealer-showroom styling options (leg styles, brushed nickel trim); the Drolet Escape 1800 delivers the identical heating envelope at a fraction of the landed cost. We cover this pairing in depth in Solution 2.3 vs Escape 1800.
If you want harder evidence than matching spec sheets, look at the parts catalogue: SBI lists the same rigid firescreen, part number AC01315, for the Solution 2.3 and the Escape 1800. A stamped steel screen only fits one firebox opening.
Enerzone Solution 1.7 → Drolet Escape 1500

The mid-size pairing. The Solution 1.7 is rated for 500–1,800 ft² with 65,000 BTU/h from a 1.9 ft³ firebox; the Drolet Escape 1500 carries the same 500–1,800 ft² rating, the same 65,000 BTU/h maximum output, and the same 1.9 ft³ firebox, taking logs up to 18". The Solution 1.7 lists around $1,975 (CAD $2,749) before dealer extras; the Escape 1500 is $1,349 shipped. Both take the same AC01299 firescreen.
Enerzone Solution 3.5 → Drolet HT-3000

The big-house pairing. Both are SBI's extra-large 110,000 BTU/h platform rated for 1,000–2,700 ft². The Solution 3.5 comes with a blower included at around $3,025 (CAD $4,199); the Drolet HT-3000 offers a 3.5 ft³ firebox, logs up to 22", up to 10-hour burn times, and EPA certification at 1.6 g/h for $1,899, with the blower available as an add-on. Both take the same AC01281 firescreen.
What About the Small Solution 1.4?
For the 250–1,200 ft² class, look at the Drolet Escape 1200 N — SBI's compact online-brand unit, rated for the same 250–1,200 ft² heating area as the Solution 1.4, at 75,000 BTU/h maximum output with 1.7 g/h emissions. Again the parts confirm it: AC01420 is the firescreen for both.
Enerzone Inserts
Enerzone also builds wood inserts for masonry fireplaces through the same dealer channel. If that's what you're shopping for, SBI's online-brand equivalents are the Drolet Escape 1500-I (65,000 BTU/h, up to 1,800 ft², $1,729) and the Drolet Escape 1800-I (75,000 BTU/h, up to 2,100 ft², 2.4 ft³ firebox, $1,799) — both EPA certified with limited lifetime warranties. Need an insert sooner? The Carolina Model 21 NC works as a fireplace insert and is in stock: $2,248 with its trim kit, heats 800–1,800 sq ft, made in the USA (Ships in 1–3 days). Your fireplace opening must be at least 23¼″ wide, 21″ high and 15″ deep.
Already own an Enerzone? We stock the parts
Enerzone sells through a specialty dealer network built around moving appliances, not around making replacement parts easy to find years later. If your dealer has closed, relocated, or wants you to drive across the county for a firescreen, this section is for you.
We are not an Enerzone appliance dealer and we do not sell Enerzone stoves. We do stock the factory SBI parts that fit them, at the same prices as the Drolet-badged equivalents, with No Sales Tax in any state.

Cast iron legs and pedestals
The leg and pedestal assemblies are the parts that give a Solution its showroom look, and they bolt on. Each includes an integrated ash drawer. These are Enerzone-specific — a Solution 2.3 kit will not fit a 1.7, and vice versa, so order by your stove.
| Style | Solution 2.3 | Solution 1.7 |
|---|---|---|
| Brushed nickel flared | AC01294 — $880 | — |
| Brushed nickel round | AC01296 — $825 | — |
| Brushed nickel traditional | AC01208 — $770 | AC01183 — $770 |
| Black flared | AC01293 — $605 | — |
| Black round | AC01295 — $495 | AC01186 — $495 |
| Pedestal with ash drawer | AC01124 — $440 | AC01181 — $440 |
We also stock parts for several discontinued Enerzone models, including the Destination 1.6, Destination 2.3, Solution 1.3, 1.6, 1.8, 1.8-I, 3.3 and 3.4 — the discontinued units are exactly the ones dealers stop wanting to help with.
One warning worth reading twice: a shared firebox does not mean every part interchanges. Blowers in particular are model-specific. The Solution 1.4 sits in the same firebox class as the Drolet Escape 1200 N, but it takes the AC02023 blower, not the Drolet AC02050. Fresh air intake kits are decided by base type — legs, pedestal or insert — not by firebox size; our fresh air intake guide sorts them out.
Every fitment above comes from SBI's own published parts lists. If your model or serial range is not listed, send us the model number and we will check it against the manufacturer data before you order rather than guessing.
Showroom vs. Online: How the Buying Experience Differs
There's a legitimate case for the dealer route: you see the stove in person, get local advice, and can hire the same shop to install it. If that service is worth the premium to you, Enerzone dealers deliver it.
The trade-offs are real, though. Buying an Enerzone means locating a dealer, visiting the showroom, paying dealer retail plus installation, and — for US buyers — potentially absorbing the tariff surcharge Enerzone discloses on its own site. It also means going back to that dealer for parts in year eight. Buying the SBI-built Drolet equivalent online means ordering today with no sales tax and free shipping, curbside freight delivery to your driveway, the same limited lifetime warranty, and the same manufacturer support network — then hiring any local installer or chimney professional for the installation itself.
Every stove named in this guide ships with its full manufacturer documentation, and installation must always follow the clearances and requirements in the owner's manual regardless of where you buy.
Bottom Line
Enerzone makes excellent stoves — they're SBI products, and SBI's build quality is exactly why we carry the Drolet line. But if you've priced a Solution 1.7, 2.3, or 3.5 at a dealer, check the spec-matched Drolet twin before you commit: Escape 1500, Escape 1800, and HT-3000. Same factory. Same warranty. Same heat. Delivered to your curb for less.
And if you already own the Enerzone, the parts table above covers what we stock for it.
All specifications in this article are taken from the manufacturers' published product pages (enerzone-intl.com and drolet.ca) as of August 2026. Parts fitment is taken from SBI's published replacement parts lists as of September 2026. USD conversions of Enerzone's CAD list prices are approximate and will vary with exchange rates. Specifications on the certification label affixed to an appliance always override published figures — confirm clearances and installation requirements in the owner's manual for your specific unit.
We stock both halves of this: the appliances and the SBI factory parts that fit Enerzone stoves. Browse Drolet wood stoves for the current equivalents, then the fresh air intake kits, blowers and fire screens that fit them.
