Jøtul Wood Stove Prices 2026: What Each Model Costs
Share
Try to find a Jøtul price online and you will mostly hit Call for Best Pricing and Sold in-store only. Jøtul sells through local dealers, and most of them keep prices off the web.
A few dealers do publish list prices, and those numbers are below — along with what the stove actually costs once it is installed, and how fast those prices have climbed.

The short answer
Published dealer prices put Jøtul's current freestanding wood stoves between roughly $1,900 and $4,900 for the stove alone, in matte black. Enamel finishes cost more.
| Model | Size class | Published dealer price |
|---|---|---|
| F 602 V3 "Little Giant" | Small, ~800 sq ft class | $1,889 |
| F 35 Rockwood | Small | Quote only |
| F 445 Holliday | Medium | Quote only |
| F 55 V2 Carrabassett | Large, up to 2,600 sq ft | $3,599 |
| F 500 V3 Oslo (matte black) | Large, 2,000+ sq ft | $4,879 |
| F 45 V2 Greenville | Medium | Discontinued by Jøtul |
The figures come from an Ohio Jøtul dealer's published list as of October 2026. Your local dealer may be higher or lower, and some will discount floor models. Treat this as a ballpark for budgeting, not a quote — we are not a Jøtul dealer.
If you were shopping for the F 45 Greenville, Jøtul now lists it as discontinued. Dealers may still have stock, but expect it to dry up.
Jøtul prices have climbed fast
This is the part most buyers do not expect. A distributor's 2019–20 catalog listed the F 602 at $1,065 and the F 55 Carrabassett at $2,720. Against today's published prices, that is roughly a 77% increase on the F 602 and about 32% on the F 55 in six years. The F 602 also moved to the V3 "Fusion" design in that time, which accounts for part of the jump.
Owners on the hearth forums tell the same story: an Oslo that sold for a little over $2,000 in 2009 now lists at more than twice that. If you priced a Jøtul a few years ago, budget again from scratch.
Jøtul F 602 V3 price
The F 602 is Jøtul's smallest and most-searched stove. Dealers list the F 602 V3 at about $1,889 to $2,119 in 2026, stove only, in matte black. It heats up to about 800 sq ft from a 0.82 cu ft firebox, takes 16" logs, burns up to 5 hours and vents through a 6" flue. The older F 602 CB has been discontinued.
For about half the price, the Englander Blue Ridge 100 N ($1,099) has more than twice the firebox at 1.85 cu ft, takes 17" logs and heats 250–1,200 sq ft (Ships in 1–3 days). The Drolet Fox ($999) is the lowest-priced option at the same size (No confirmed date). What the F 602 gives you that they don't is Jøtul's cast iron and its classic look.
The costs that come after the stove
The stove is rarely the biggest number on the invoice.
| Item | Typical add |
|---|---|
| Chimney or stainless liner | Varies by height and type |
| Hearth pad | $189–$525 |
| Labor and install | $1,000–$2,500+ |
| Blower, pipe, cap | Model dependent |
A $3,600 Carrabassett is realistically a $5,000–$6,500 project once it is vented and installed. Ask the dealer for the installed price including venting — that is the only figure you can compare between quotes. Our wood stove installation cost guide breaks those line items down.
One cost specific to Jøtul's V3 "Fusion" stoves — the F 602 V3, F 445 and F 500 V3 Oslo: they use Jøtul's High Flow combustor, a catalytic element that eventually wears and gets replaced. Ask the dealer what a replacement costs and how long it lasts. The catalytic vs non-catalytic guide explains what living with one involves. The F 55 Carrabassett is non-catalytic and does not have this cost.
Why the prices are hidden
Jøtul, like Blaze King, Lopi and HearthStone, sells only through dealers with local territories. Keeping prices off the web lets dealers price by region and sell the installation alongside the stove. It is a legitimate model, but it means you need two or three quotes to know whether the first was fair. We walked through the same pattern in Blaze King wood stove prices.
Is a Jøtul worth it?
For some buyers, yes. You are paying for cast iron — which holds and radiates heat for hours after the fire dies down — and for some of the best-known stove designs in the world. The Oslo's arched door is close to iconic, and a well-kept Jøtul lasts decades with parts still available.
What you are not buying is more heat per dollar. A Jøtul F 55 is rated up to 2,600 sq ft with 18" logs; a Drolet HT-3000 is rated up to 2,700 sq ft, takes 22" logs and costs about half as much. Our Jøtul vs Drolet comparison goes model by model.
What we sell, and what it costs

We are an authorized Drolet and Englander dealer, and our prices are on the page — no quote, No Sales Tax in any state, and free shipping to your curb. Here is what sits closest to each Jøtul:
| Our stove | Closest Jøtul | Our price |
|---|---|---|
| Drolet Deco Nano N | F 602 V3 ($1,889) | $1,199 |
| Drolet Escape 1200 N | F 35 Rockwood | $1,129 |
| Drolet Escape 1800 — up to 2,100 sq ft | F 445 / F 45 Greenville | $1,549 |
| Englander Blue Ridge 500 | F 55 Carrabassett ($3,599) | $1,749 |
| Drolet HT-3000 — up to 2,700 sq ft | F 55 / F 500 Oslo ($4,879) | $1,899 |
| Drolet Escape 2100 | F 500 Oslo | $1,929 |
None of these use a catalytic combustor, so there is no wear part to replace. They are plate steel rather than cast iron — they heat a cold room faster and cool faster once the fire is out.

The price gap is big enough to change the whole project. For the published price of an Oslo, you can buy an HT-3000 and still have roughly $3,000 left for the chimney, a hearth pad and a blower.
