Vortex 4" Pellet Vent Basement Kit

Complete Vortex 4" pellet vent basement kit — the full horizontal run, offsets and termination needed to vent a pellet stove out through a basement exterior wall. Galvalume outer wall with a stainless-steel inner wall, and a gasket system that seals without silicone.

Fits any pellet stove with a 3" or 4" flue outlet, regardless of brand — the kit includes both a 4" stove connector and a 3"-to-4" increaser connector, so either outlet size starts the run. The Drolet models we name are simply the ones we carry; measure your stove's exhaust outlet before ordering.

Kit contents: one 4" stove connector, one 3" to 4" increaser stove connector, one 12"L pipe, one 18"L pipe, one 24"L pipe, two 36"L pipe, one 9"L adjustable slip section, one wall pass-thru, two tees, two 90° elbows, two wall supports and one jet cap.

Vortex pellet vent is listed at 1" clearance to combustibles and meets NFPA 211, CSA B365, UL 641, CAN/ULC S609 and ULC/ORD C441. Never pack the clearance space with insulation or any other material. The vent system must be completely airtight — seal and fasten every joint per the vent manufacturer's instructions.

Both stove manuals cap horizontal runs at 9 feet and require at least 3 feet of vertical rise. Measure your run against the vent chart in the manual before ordering — a basement install with a long horizontal leg may need additional pipe beyond what the kit contains.
