Overview
FormFoil is an aluminum foil-backed crown adhesive that gives a bond break and watertight flashing between your old chimney crown and a new CrownSaver repair. Buy from StoveSource and pay no sales tax in any state.
How to use it
Thoroughly wet the FormFoil with water, then trowel CrownSaver evenly over it at 1/4" to 1/2" thick. Mist with water and smooth lightly with a masonry finish brush. Cover or mist the installed FormFoil in hot weather, because excessive heat can make CrownSaver set too fast.
