Overview
Everything for a full end-of-season pellet stove clean in one box, for less than buying the parts one by one. No Sales Tax.
This pellet stove cleaning kit bundles five ComfortBilt maintenance items that are usually bought separately. Together they cover the jobs that keep a pellet stove lighting reliably and drawing well: brushing the vent, clearing fly ash from the stove's exhaust passages, replacing the gaskets you disturb along the way and resealing the pipe when it goes back together. Pick the option for your stove model and the right gasket kit comes with it.

How each part is used
Vent and burn pot. With the stove off and cold, run the 10 ft 3" vent brush through the pellet vent from the tee cleanout to clear fly ash, then use the steel burn pot brush to scrape the burn pot holes clear. Ash-blocked holes are a common cause of failed ignitions and lazy flames.
Exhaust passages. Behind the side panels, ComfortBilt stoves have cleanout covers over the rear exhaust chambers. The exhaust port brushes reach up these chambers and into the exhaust port to loosen packed ash so you can vacuum it out. An ash vacuum makes this part much easier.
Gaskets. The cleanout covers and exhaust blower connection seal with Lytherm gaskets that often tear or flatten when the covers come off. Fitting new ones from the Lytherm gasket kit keeps the stove airtight, which protects the vacuum reading and stops smoke or ash leaking into the room.
Vent joints. If you disconnect the vent to clean it, reseal the joints with Mill-Pac before you fire the stove again. Follow the cure time on the tube.
Spare fuses. A stove that is completely dead after maintenance is often just a blown fuse in the main power switch tray. Keeping spares on hand saves a service call.

Fitment notes: The vent brush is 3", for 3" pellet vent. If your stove is vented in 4" pipe, add the B67C 4" brush cleaning kit. The Alpine HP40 and HP75C aren't covered by the gasket kits, so this bundle isn't offered for them; the brushes, sealant and fuses are sold separately and do fit those models. Door gaskets are not included.
How often to clean
ComfortBilt's HP22 owner's manual calls for cleaning the rear exhaust chambers every ton of pellets (about 50 bags), or sooner with lower-quality pellets, and for inspecting and cleaning the exhaust vent and combustion blower housing once a year. It also recommends an annual professional service. The burn pot and ash pan need emptying regularly between these deeper cleans. Check your own model's owner's manual for its schedule, and see our pellet stove maintenance schedule for the full routine.
