This thermistor probe reads the room temperature and reports it to the control board, which raises or lowers the burn to hold your setpoint. If the display shows a wrong or frozen room temperature, the stove ignores your setpoint, or it won't step down or shut off in ECO mode, the probe or its wire is likely damaged. Includes one probe with attached wire.

Fitment notes: Used only in TEMP and ECO modes; it isn't involved when the stove runs on a wall thermostat. Check that the connector on your existing probe matches before ordering, and route the new probe away from the stove body and room-air outlet so it reads the true room temperature.
