Reinforcement Fabric is the fabric you embed in FlashSeal to add strength and stability to a chimney flashing repair. Buy from StoveSource and pay no sales tax in any state.
How to use it
Cut enough fabric to completely cover the repair, working the lowest side of the chimney first and overlapping the pieces the way shingles overlap. Brush on about 1/8" of FlashSeal, press the fabric into it with the brush, then cover it with a liberal top coat that runs about an inch past the edges.
