Overview
Vortex 3"-to-4" black increaser for pellet stoves — connects a stove's 3" flue collar to Vortex 4" pellet vent pipe. This is the same conversion Drolet uses in its factory ECO-55 basement venting package: start the run with this increaser at the stove, then continue in 4".
Not limited to Drolet. This increaser fits any pellet stove with a 3" flue collar, provided the rest of the run is built in Vortex 4" pellet vent. Measure your stove's exhaust outlet before ordering.
A 4" run allows longer total vent lengths than 3" — useful for basement installs and extended horizontal or vertical runs.
Vortex pellet vent is listed at 1" clearance to combustibles and meets NFPA 211, CSA B365, UL 641, CAN/ULC S609 and ULC/ORD C441. Pairs with other Vortex 4" pellet vent components. Not for ComfortBilt or Englander pellet stoves — those use 3" DuraVent PelletVent Pro systems, which cannot be mixed with Vortex venting.
