This is the hand-held remote transmitter for the RC300-HNG remote kit. It turns the fireplace on and off, adjusts the flame, and in thermostat mode holds the room at the temperature you set. Replace it when the remote is lost, cracked, or no longer controls the fireplace with fresh batteries.
