Overview
Genuine SBI replacement 4 3/4" x 4 3/8" x 1 1/4" Bypass Mechanism Insulation for the Drolet Austral II, Drolet Baltic II & Drolet Black Stag and the other models listed below.
This is the factory baffle/insulation board that sits at the top of the firebox and holds heat in for a clean secondary burn. Replace it when it is cracked, crumbling, sagging or missing pieces, which lets heat escape up the flue and lowers efficiency.
