Overview
Jet cap termination for 4" Vortex pellet vent (VOP0361). The horizontal termination used where a pellet vent run exits an exterior wall — it directs exhaust away from the wall face and keeps rain and debris out of the vent.
Works with any 4" Vortex pellet vent run, regardless of stove brand. Pellet vent is system-specific at the joints — Vortex locks to Vortex and will not join another manufacturer's pellet vent.
Termination clearances to windows, doors, soffits, decks and grade are set by NFPA 211 and by your stove's installation manual. Check both before choosing the exit point.
Vortex pellet vent is listed at 1" clearance to combustibles and meets NFPA 211, CSA B365, UL 641, CAN/ULC S609 and ULC/ORD C441. Already included in the 4" Basement Kit.
