It is made for stoves and inserts burning wood pellets, corn and other biofuels, or oil. DuraVent parts use a twist-lock joint that connects only to other DuraVent PelletVent Pro components — they will not join another brand's pellet vent, so build the whole run from PelletVent Pro.

3" or 4"? 3" PelletVent Pro suits typical short pellet stove runs. ComfortBilt notes that 4" allows longer runs, and recommends 4" on its stoves when the flue height is over 12 ft, above 5,000 ft elevation, or when the layout goes past the 3" vent-length limit. Your stove's manual sets the size it requires.
